20th NY Sephardic Jewish Film Festival

Ema Shah sings at the Opening Night

Ema Shah, who came to The American Sephardi Federation’s 20th New York Sephardic Jewish Film Festival from Kuwait to perform in Hebrew, French, and Arabic, expressed her admiration for how the relationship between Muslims and Jews in Morocco is a model for the Middle East: “You see the Moroccans here–Mr. André Azoulay, and everyone in Morocco here–and I feel proud. I feel sorry for what is happening in the world. You have something special in your country.”
