Thessaloníki’s Holocaust Museum, to open in 2019

The American Sephardi Federation commends Yiannis Boutaris, Mayor of Thessaloníki, Greece, for his decision to build a Holocaust Museum and Educational Center, which is slated to open in 2019.

The museum will sit at the spot from which, during WWII, 55,000 Sephardic Jews were sent by train to their deaths.
