Join the American Sephardi Federation and the Moise Safra Center for a special afternoon with artist and food writer Linda Dangoor, author of From the Tigris to the Thames, in conversation with award-winning novelist and journalist Esther Chehebar.
Following the conversation, Linda will give a culinary demonstration, bringing the flavors and traditions of her book to life.
The afternoon will conclude with an audience Q&A and book signing.

@Moise Safra Center

Born in Baghdad, Linda Dangoor explores the meaning of home, memory, and belonging through the language of food. Her latest book is part memoir and part cookbook-a rich tapestry of recipes and personal reflections tracing her Baghdadi heritage and the journey of a culinary tradition across generations and geographies.
Esther Chehebar, author of the acclaimed novel Sisters of Fortune and a regular contributor to Tablet Magazine on Syrian Jewish culture and tradition, will sit down with Linda for a conversation about food as a keeper of memory, the experience of leaving one home and creating another, and the ways recipes can preserve family and cultural identity.
