DESCRIPTION:ROMEO and JULIET by William Shakespeare — In a Jewish Adaptation by David Serero. \nOne SEPHARDI family and one ASHKENAZI family… Featuring Ladinos and Yiddish songs. \nROMEO and JULIET coming Off-Broadway in a World Premiere Jewish adaptation this June 2019 at the Center for Jewish History (15 west 16th Street New York NY 10011). \nThis unique production is adapted and directed by David Serero\, who is also starring as Romeo. One family is Sephardic and the other one is Ashkenazi\, featuring classic Ladinos and Yiddish songs as well as some others surprises. \nThe Cast includes: \nDavid Serero (Romeo)\, Ashley Brooke Miller (Juliet)\, Lisa Monde (Lady Capulet)\, David Mohr (Rabbi Laurence)\, Martin Bonventre (Tybalt)\, Patrick Clark (Mercutio)\, and Felix Jarrar (Piano). \nPerformances: \nThursday\, June 13th at 3 pm\nSunday\, June 16th at 6 pm – Opening Night – Followed by After Party\nTuesday\, June 18th at 8pm\nThursday\, June 20th at 8 pm\nSunday\, June 23rd at 6 pm – Closing Night – Followed by After Party \nTickets are $26 and $36 (VIP tickets including gold seating and access to the After Party). \nPerformances will take place at: \nThe Center for Jewish History\n15 West 16th Street\nNew York NY 10011 \nQuestions: asfmerchant@gmail.com or 646.724.3129
