We are proud to announce that Mosaic United, an initiative of Israel’s Ministry for Diaspora Affairs, has chosen the American Sephardi Federation as one of nine organizations globally to receive a RiseUp – Mobilize for Israel grant. These emergency funds are given in recognition of the significant impact the ASF’s Sephardi House is making on campuses coast-to-coast, and will be used to amplify and activate young Greater Sephardi and Mizrahi voices. Other recipients include JCC Global, OU Israel Relief, and HaNoar HaTzioni Latin America.

Since 2020, the ASF’s Sephardi House has been enlightening and empowering Jewish college students with classic Sephardic teachings that have been a source of strength, resilience, and unity throughout the ages.

As Jewish students are humiliated, threatened, and attacked nationwide, ASF Sephardi House Fellows are stranding strong on the frontlines—mobilizing, writing, & speaking out. Our students have written in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Yale Daily News, and Times of Israel, appeared on MSNBC and Fox News, and two have testified before the United States Congress!
