Light a Flame for Jewish Life on Campus!

Dear Friends,

During Hanukkah we recall how a little light can dispel much darkness. But that miracle was only possible because a cruse of sacred oil had somehow survived destruction.

Just as that flame needed fuel, the source of our strength is derived from Jewish values and vision. Our ancestors, against all odds, defied extinction because they focused on purpose, not persecution. We do not exist to resist antisemitism, but rather to advance a positive purpose in the world.

This insight shaped the ASF’s Sephardi House Fellowship. As its founder, Joshua Benaim, noted in 2020: “students are thirsty for knowledge and authentic Jewish connection. These are the superpowers that have kept the Jewish people strong for millennia.”

In recent weeks, as ASF Sephardi House Fellows have been making an inspiring impact from Congress to campuses coast-to-coast, we see the importance of enlightening and empowering Jewish college students with classic Sephardic teachings that have been a source of strength, resilience, and unity throughout the ages.

Now is your chance to take concrete action to support Sephardic students and help amplify their voices.

Please donate now to ensure that Sephardi House Fellows have the mentorship, leadership training, lifelong friendships, inspiring Shabbatons, and knowledge to fight fear, apathy, and evil with light and facts.

These students are the bright future of our people, and they need your support!

Hanukkah Sameah!
